What The Hell Was I Thinking?

So... I mentioned in an earlier post that
I am the Head Coach for my daughters
Peewee Cheerleading Team.

And I am really having fun with it.

I've spent nearly every day choreographing
our Cheer Routine and making up
arm motions to new Cheers.

Then I had my daughter record me
so that I could see how the arm motions
of the new Cheer I made up looked like.

WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING!!??

I look HORRIBLE!!
Yes...... I have lost 69 pounds.
But HELLO!!!!
I still have 84 more to go!!!!

And I have to get up there in front
of all the girls and the PARENTS
and teach this dance and cheers to the girls?

Oh dear......

I do not look as good as I feel.
Not even close!!!

I'm committed now.
There is no backing out.
I will have to get up there in all my
wiggly jiggly glory and teach
the dance and Cheers
to 24 girls while parents look on.

Pray for me......

YEAH BABY!!!!!

I found out last night I have been
selected as the HEAD COACH
for my daughters Peewee Cheerleading Squad!

I am SO EXCITED!!!!

and nervous......
Last year was my first year to Coach,
and at 278lbs I was so self conscious
about my body.   I always felt like I was
being watched and judged. I thought parents
were probably wondering why I was selected as
one of the Coaches.
I couldn't even get on the floor and stretch
with the girls.

It was my wake up call.

Workout

I am so sore.

Saturday I worked on Cheers all afternoon.  My husband took the kids to a waterpark and I stayed home.  I  practiced the cheer dance  I will have to teach our squad, and I also worked on making up movements to some of the chants.

By that evening I was getting sore, and the next morning, I had sore muscles that I didn't know existed.  Who knew that it would be such a workout?  My legs, my butt, my stomache, my sides, and shoulders, and my arms are all feeling the burn.

Here it is 2 days later, and I am still feeling it.  That's good right?

We plan on going swimming later, and then I have to coach cheer practice tonight.   I did not work on cheers yesterday, although I should have.  Apparently, the way my body feels, I need to work on them everyday. They seem to be great at working out all my muscles.

Once again........ I am so happy for the changes that the decision to coach has brought out in me.  I am making new friends, I'm sharing something special with my daughter, I'm feeling better about myself, and I am definately up off the couch and more active now.

And I'm loving every minute of it.
